About Jonathan

I live in Dunwoody, Georgia with my beautiful wife Shelina and adorable daughter Maya.  The picture above is a sign that Maya spends way too much time on the tennis courts with her mom and dad.  :)

As the son of a tennis professional, I have been playing tennis on and off since I was four years old and I have over ten years of professional racquet stringing experience.

I grew up playing competitive junior tennis in Florida and became the "go to" stringer for several of the local tennis clubs.

Upon moving to Atlanta, I rediscovered my love for the game of tennis and started playing regularly again.

I also rediscovered my passion for stringing and tennis equipment.

As I talked to more people with whom I played, I realized that no one was satisfied with the level of stringing service that they were being provided by their local retailers, pro shops, and neighborhood stringers.

Indeed, in many cases, I discovered that many of the people with whom I played were playing with strings and grips that did not suit their game and playing style and, in some cases, they were playing with strings that were causing them to suffer from tennis elbow and shoulder problems.

These players were looking for something better but did not know where to turn.

That is how Stringing by Jonathan started: to provide a service for tennis players that are looking for something better: in short, a professional racquet stringing service dedicated to the highest quality in workmanship and excellence in customer service.

Jonathan's Tennis Results:

In the fall of 2009, I have been playing at the 6.0 minus level in the K-Swiss Ultimate Tennis League.

In the winter I will be playing mixed doubles for the Kingsley Swim & Tennis A-1 ALTA team.

I hope to see some of you out on the courts soon!
